Hey everyone, I'm planning to build a new gaming rig with the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D processor. I want to make sure I have adequate cooling to keep temperatures in check and allow for some overclocking headroom. What's the best AIO liquid cooler you'd recommend for this CPU? My case can accommodate up to a 360mm radiator.
I use Corsair iCUE H150i Elite CAPELLIX XT, it works well.
@faaa7v I was fortunate to secure this cooler for my latest computer build featuring a Rocket Lake Intel CPU. The installation positions the radiator at the top of the case, with three intake fans directed downward onto the 128 GB Corsair Dominator memory and the drive cage. Currently, the system is set to power saver mode, which has proven effective. Remarkably, even during warm weather conditions, the system maintains a cool temperature, even while playing HD video. This efficient cooling performance gives me confidence in the build's stability and longevity. Overall, the combination of quality components and smart cooling has made this setup a success thus far, providing reliable performance for my needs.
If you're looking for a top-performing AIO liquid cooler for the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, I highly recommend the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360. Here's why:
I've been using the Liquid Freezer III 360 with my 7900X3D, and it has kept temperatures in check even under heavy workloads. Definitely worth considering!
Why not get some air cooler, air cooler like be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 works well for me.
ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360
The X3D chips don't support overclocking, so there's no need for extreme cooling solutions. Instead, focus on a capable air cooler or a mid-range AIO liquid cooler.
Get the iCUE H150i Elite CAPELLIX XT AIO liquid cooler from Corsair. You will love it.

Same to me, love this cooler.
The Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280mm effectively cools my Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and should handle the slightly more powerful 7900X3D. Arctic's thicker radiators perform well - interestingly, tests show the 280mm version matches or slightly outperforms the 360mm model, while the 420mm runs cooler and 240mm runs hotter. I got mine new on eBay for $62 with A-RGB.
