I'm planning to build a new gaming PC and I've decided to go with the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card. However, I'm not sure which CPU would be the best match for it to avoid bottlenecks and get the most out of the GPU.
I'm mostly interested in gaming at 1440p with high refresh rates.
I've been considering the Intel Core i5-14600K or the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, but I'm open to other suggestions as well.
What do you think would be the best CPU to pair with the RTX 4060 Ti for optimal gaming performance? Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

If you want the best performance to pair with an RTX 4060 Ti, I'd recommend going with an Intel Core i7-14700K or i5-14600K processor. Both have excellent single-core performance which is important for gaming, and enough cores to handle any other tasks extremely well. AMD's Ryzen 7 7800X3D is also a great choice if you want to go Team Red - its massive L3 cache really benefits gaming performance.
