I'm building a dedicated home automation server to run Home Assistant, Node-RED, and maybe some light NVR functions. Looking for CPU recommendations that balance power efficiency with enough performance for these tasks. My priority is reliability and low power consumption since it'll run 24/7. Budget around $200 for the CPU. Any experiences with recent Intel vs AMD options for this specific use case?
