I'm planning to build a high-end gaming PC in early 2024, and my budget is around $2000. I want to ensure that I get the best performance possible for my money, so I'm looking for advice on the optimal components to include in this build.

I'm primarily interested in playing the latest AAA titles at 1440p or 4K resolution with high to ultra settings while maintaining a stable 60+ FPS. I'd also like the build to be somewhat future-proof, so I can enjoy smooth gameplay for at least a couple of years without needing significant upgrades.

Some specific questions I have:

  1. What are the best CPUs and GPUs to consider in this price range for 2024?
  2. Is 32GB of RAM overkill, or should I stick with 16GB?
  3. What kind of storage configuration would you recommend (SSD + HDD or just SSD)?
  4. Are there any particular motherboards, power supplies, or cases that offer the best value and performance for this type of build?

I'm open to any suggestions or advice you might have. Thanks in advance for your help!
