I'm looking to build a new PC for video editing and want to ensure I get the best performance for my budget (around $3000). I'll be working with 4K footage and using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.

What CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage configurations would you recommend for optimal video editing performance? I'm considering the latest Intel or AMD processors and NVIDIA graphics cards, but I'm open to suggestions.

Also, are there any specific motherboards, cooling solutions, or power supplies I should consider for a video editing build?

You don't need the latest and greatest for effective video editing. What you do need is a balanced system with key components:

An Intel CPU (12th gen or later) with integrated graphics (iGPU) is crucial. The iGPU's QuickSync feature enables smooth hardware decoding and encoding for various video formats, eliminating the need for intermediates or proxies.
