I recently got a used Dell Latitude e7440 for work and need to get a docking station to connect it to multiple monitors and accessories when at my desk. But there seem to be a bunch of different options out there. Any recommendations for a good, reliable docking station that works well with the e7440? Dual monitor support would be ideal. Thanks in advance!

DELL WD22TB4 is the best choice.

Check out the Dell WD15 docking station. It's made specifically for Dell laptops like the Latitude e7440 and provides dual video output (VGA and DisplayPort) so you can easily connect two external monitors. It also has a good selection of ports - USB 3.0, ethernet, audio out, etc. Pretty much a plug-and-play solution.

if you are looking for an affordable dock, try the Anker PowerExpand 5-in-1 Thunderbolt 4 Mini Dock.

I'm using the Plugable USB 3.0 Docking Station with my e7440 and it's been great. Dual HDMI ports for easy dual monitor setup. Lots of USB ports for accessories. And it's smaller/more compact than Dell's docking stations. The only downside is you have to install drivers, but it works reliably once set up.

I really like the CalDigit USB-C docking stations. Expensive but rock solid. The TS3 Plus has dual DisplayPort outputs plus a ton of ports - USB, ethernet, SD card readers, audio, etc. Works great with my e7440 over a single USB-C cable. It's also compatible with Thunderbolt 3 so futureproof if you upgrade laptops later.
