Looking for recommendations on Thunderbolt 4-compatible docking stations for my upcoming Surface Pro 9. Prefer wired docks that don't attach directly to the device's side ports, as I'd like to hide it behind the Surface for a cleaner look. Planning to connect a 4K monitor. Any suggestions for reliable, tested docking stations? Seeking alternatives to Microsoft's pricey options. Key features I'm after: Thunderbolt 4 compatibility, 4K monitor support, and a separate wired design. Appreciate any insights on performance, compatibility, and value-for-money options. Thanks for your help!

I've been using the Surface Dock 2, and it's a significant improvement over cheaper alternatives. Unlike sub-$80 docks that often cause USB disconnections and monitor issues, the SD2 has been flawlessly reliable. Its magnetic plug is a standout feature, allowing me to grab my notebook and go without worrying about damaging USB ports if I forget it's connected. The peace of mind and performance justify the higher price tag.
