I recently installed a new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER graphics card in my PC. However, I'm still seeing the motherboard's integrated graphics being used instead of the new dedicated card. How can I switch to using the RTX card? Any help would be appreciated!

To use your dedicated RTX card instead of the integrated graphics, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the RTX card is properly seated in the PCIe slot and power cables are connected
  2. Connect your monitor cable to the ports on the RTX card, not the motherboard
  3. Go into the BIOS settings and disable the integrated graphics
  4. Install the latest NVIDIA drivers for your RTX card
  5. Reboot and the dedicated card should now be used instead of integrated graphics
