I'm looking to upgrade my GPU to achieve smooth gaming at 4K resolution with 144Hz refresh rate. My current setup includes an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X and a Dell G3223Q monitor. I primarily play AAA titles and want to ensure I can maintain high frame rates. Should I go for an NVIDIA RTX 4070 or an AMD RX 7900 XT? Is there a significant difference in performance, especially with DLSS support? Any recommendations or insights on the best GPU for this setup would be greatly appreciated!
For best result, you should get the GeForce RTX 5090. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=GeForce+RTX+5090&tag=7649-20
I'm running an RTX 5090 with my 4K 144Hz setup, and it's the first card I've owned that can actually deliver close to 144fps at 4K in most AAA titles without major sacrifices. DLSS 4.0 helps tremendously in more demanding games. Expensive, but if you want true 4K/144Hz without compromises, this is currently the only real option.
At least 4090.
RTX 5090.
RTX 4090.
7900xtx.
