I'm looking for some advice on the best thermal paste to use for both my CPU and GPU. I want to ensure optimal heat transfer and keep my temperatures as low as possible.
I've heard good things about Arctic MX-4 and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, but I'm open to other suggestions. Is there a significant difference between various brands and types of thermal paste?
Also, what's the best method for applying thermal paste to the CPU and GPU? I've seen conflicting information about using a pea-sized amount, spreading it manually, or using the included spatula.
Lastly, how often should I replace the thermal paste? Is it necessary to reapply it after a certain amount of time or only when temperatures start to rise?
Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is the best.
I've had success with Cooler Master MasterGel Maker Nano. It's got good thermal conductivity, is non-conductive, and comes with an applicator which makes it easy to apply the right amount. It's a solid choice for both CPU and GPU.
The new NT-H2 from Noctua is one of the best choice.
I use Gelid GC-Extreme, works OK and no problem.
