Samsung today has officially announced the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. Price and release date ?

Samsung has announced its new laptop featuring Intel’s latest Core Ultra 200V processor, codenamed Lunar Lake.

The low power requirements of Lunar Lake allow companies like Samsung to design more compact and powerful systems within the same or lower power envelope. The Lunar Lake CPU operates within a 17W to 30W TDP range, but the Book5 Pro 360 will use the 17W TDP SKUs. The company confirmed that their new laptop will be powered by either Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 CPUs (without specifying the exact SKUs), while only the Core Ultra 9 has an increased default power.

The laptop features a 16-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It has an AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 500 nits, a 120Hz variable refresh rate, and 120% DCI-P3 color coverage. The screen supports touch input, and users can also use a stylus called the S Pen (which is included with the laptop).

Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 Specs

  • CPU: Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 (200V)
  • GPU: Arc 130V to Arc 140V (Integrated)
  • Memory: 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5x-8533
  • Screen: 16 inch, AMOLED with 120Hz VRR
  • Battery: 74 Wh

Under the hood, the new laptop features the Core Ultra 200V processor with 8 CPU cores and up to 8 Xe2 GPU cores, equipped with either Arc 130V or Arc 140V integrated graphics.

Samsung is also highlighting some custom AI features, including Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Live Translate, and Transcript Assist. These features are separate from the Copilot+PC features provided by Microsoft. Although Samsung mentions it is a Copilot+PC, official certification for Lunar Lake is expected no earlier than November.
