I'm building a new PC with a Ryzen 5 5600X and I'm unsure about the best RAM to pair with it. I've seen recommendations for 3200 MHz and 3600 MHz, but I'm not sure which is optimal for performance. Should I go for 2x16GB or 4x8GB? Also, does the brand matter? Any advice on specific models or configurations would be greatly appreciated!

For a Ryzen 5 5600X, 3600MHz CL16 RAM is the sweet spot for price/performance. 2x16GB is generally preferred for future upgradeability. While brand isn't crucial, reputable brands like Corsair, Crucial, and G.Skill are good choices.

G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series

  • Capacity: 32GB (2x16GB)
  • Frequency: 3,600MHz
  • Latency: CL16
