G.SKILL Launches Advanced DDR5 Memory with Ultra-Low Latency
G.SKILL has announced new DDR5 memory kits optimized for AMD's Ryzen 9000 series processors and X870 chipset motherboards. The launch features two notable configurations with AMD EXPO support for simplified overclocking.
The first configuration introduces DDR5-6000 CL26-36-36-96 kits in both 32GB (2x16GB) and 64GB (2x32GB) capacities. The 64GB variant marks an industry first for this latency specification. These kits are available across G.SKILL's premium product lines, including Trident Z5 Royal Neo, Trident Z5 Neo RGB, and Ripjaws M5 RGB Neo series.
For professional users and content creators, G.SKILL is also releasing a high-capacity DDR5-6000 CL28-36-36-96 kit in 48GB (2x24GB) and 96GB (2x48GB) configurations. This offering combines substantial memory capacity with impressively low latency, targeting demanding workstation applications.
Both memory configurations have been validated on high-end motherboards like the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero paired with the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X processor, demonstrating stable performance under intensive testing conditions.
The new memory kits feature AMD EXPO (Extended Profile for Overclocking) technology, allowing users to easily enable memory overclocking through their motherboard's BIOS settings. G.SKILL will begin distributing these kits through their worldwide partner network in January 2025.
These releases represent significant advancements in DDR5 technology, offering PC enthusiasts and professionals new options for high-performance memory configurations with exceptional latency characteristics.
