I'm planning to build a PC with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D. I've heard that RAM speed and timings can significantly impact performance, especially with Ryzen processors. What RAM specifications would you recommend for optimal performance with this CPU?

3600 c18 is good enough for 5800X3D.

I have Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C18 for several months, love it.

I'd go with Corsair Veangeance Pro/RGB 3600mhs CL14/CL16. They work really well with Ryzen systems.

Sweet spot specs:

  • DDR4-3600 CL16 (most optimal)
  • Dual channel (2x16GB or 2x8GB)
  • 1:1 FCLK ratio (1800MHz)
