I'm planning to build a new PC and I've decided to go with the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X processor. I'm looking for the best motherboard to pair with this CPU that will allow me to get the most out of it. My budget is around $300-400 for the motherboard.
If you have any experience with motherboards that pair well with the Ryzen 7 7700X or have heard good things about specific models, please share your recommendations. I'd also appreciate any insights on the features I should prioritize when making my decision.

I think the ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi motherboard is a good choice for your CPU.

A B650 motherboard is enough for 7700X.

The MSI MPG X670E Carbon WiFi is a solid choice. It offers a good balance of features and performance. It has good power delivery, PCIe 5.0 support, and plenty of M.2 slots for storage expansion.

I'm running the ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi with my 7700X. It's a no-frills board that focuses on the essentials - good power delivery, reliable BIOS, solid build quality. The VRM thermals are excellent even under heavy loads. My only complaint is the somewhat limited USB ports compared to pricier boards, but it hasn't been an issue in practice.

You don't need a motherboard for $300 for 7700X, just get a B650 motherboard.
