I'm planning a new build centered around the Intel Core i7-13700K, and I'm struggling to choose the perfect motherboard. I'm looking for something that can handle the CPU's power demands, support fast DDR5 RAM, and offer good overclocking potential.

For the Intel Core i7 13700K, I highly recommend the ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming WiFi II. It's a high-end motherboard with excellent VRM for overclocking, built-in WiFi 7, and plenty of M.2 slots for storage. It also has great aesthetics if you're into RGB lighting.

I got the MSI MPG Z790 Edge WiFi, everything is OK.

Just installed the ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi motherboard, and wow! Setup was a breeze, and the BIOS is super intuitive. Even if you're new to this, you'll find it easy to use.

The AI features are fantastic - they optimize performance for both gaming and work tasks. It's like having a mini-PC expert built right in!

One tip: If you're having internet issues, you'll need to update drivers manually. For Windows 10+, skip internet connection during installation, download drivers to a USB, and install them after. It's a bit tedious but works great.

Overall, this motherboard is reliable, high-performing, and perfect for upgrading your rig. Whether you're a gamer or a pro, it's definitely worth considering. Happy building!

ASUS or MSI B760 motherboards are enough.

Get B760 motherboards.

Budget option that works great: ASUS Prime B760-Plus. The 13700K doesn't need an expensive Z790 if you're not planning heavy overclocking. VRMs are sufficient for stock operation with occasional boost, and you get all essential features at almost half the price of premium boards. Just be aware you'll have fewer USB ports and M.2 slots compared to pricier options.
