I'm planning a new build centered around the Ryzen 7 5800X and need advice on the best motherboard to pair with it. Any recommendations for X570 or B550 boards?

Installed my 5800X CPU in an MSI B550-A PRO motherboard. Very satisfied with the performance and value. Affordable price for the features offered.

Any B550 motherboards are recommended.

Consider what features you actually need before deciding. The 5800X doesn't require an expensive motherboard to run well. I'm using the ASRock B550 EXTREME4 and it's been perfect. If you need WiFi 6, lots of USB ports, or multiple M.2 slots, then be specific about those requirements. Otherwise, any decent B550 in the $140-180 range will handle the 5800X just fine.
