I just bought the Ryzen 7 7700X and I'm stuck on choosing the best B650 motherboard. I'm looking for a board with good VRM for stable overclocking, PCIe 5.0 support, and solid build quality. What's your experience with B650 boards? Any hidden gems or models to avoid? I'd appreciate your insights on features, performance, and reliability. Thanks in advance for your help!

As a recent user of the ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS, I can confidently say it's a top contender for the best B650 motherboard. It booted flawlessly on the first try, though you'll need a mouse and keyboard connected for initial display.
The CPU lever is tight, which is normal for AM4/AM5 sockets. Don't worry if it seems hard to pull down. The package includes all necessary accessories and more.
I had a minor issue with the WiFi antenna, likely due to user error. Despite this, the overall experience was excellent. The board comes with well-written English manuals, making setup a breeze.
Despite its 4-ish star rating, this motherboard exceeded my expectations in performance and ease of use. If you're looking for a reliable, feature-rich B650 board, the ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS is definitely worth considering.
