If you're deciding between Z790 motherboards with WiFi 6E vs WiFi 7, I'd recommend going with WiFi 6E for now. Here's why:

• WiFi 6E is more widely supported in current devices and routers compared to the very new WiFi 7 standard
• WiFi 6E already provides excellent speeds up to 2.4 Gbps, which is more than enough for most use cases
• Motherboards and devices with WiFi 7 will likely come at a price premium while the standard is brand new
• You can always add a WiFi 7 card later on once it's more common and prices come down

Unless you absolutely need the bleeding edge speeds of WiFi 7 and have WiFi 7 devices to take advantage of it, sticking with a solid Z790 board with WiFi 6E is the more practical choice in my opinion. The performance will still be outstanding for gaming and productivity.
