I'm building a new PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and need recommendations for the best SSD. Should I go for Gen 4 or Gen 5? Any specific brands or models that offer great performance and reliability? Thanks!

A standard NVMe SSD will handle your needs just fine - you won't notice speed differences between models for typical computer use.

PCIe 4.0 is enough for most build.
