I'm looking to upgrade my workstation with a new SSD specifically for video editing. I'm working with 4K footage and need something that can handle large file sizes and high read/write speeds. What are your recommendations for the best SSD for video editing in 2024? I'm considering both NVMe and SATA options. What capacity should I aim for?

I'd recommend the WD Black SN850X, this SSD is very stable.

Samsung 990 EVO is a good choice.

NVMe M.2 SSDs are now really cheap, you can get any M.2 SSDs with much faster speed.
