I'm looking to upgrade my editing rig with a new M.2 SSD, specifically for smoother video editing workflows. My current setup is struggling with 4K footage, and I'm hoping a fast M.2 drive will help alleviate those bottlenecks.

For video editing, you'll want a high-performance NVMe M.2 SSD with good sustained write speeds and durability. I'd recommend the Samsung 990 PRO. It offers excellent performance for video work, with read/write speeds up to 7450/6900 MB/s. The 2TB or 4TB capacities should give you plenty of space for projects.
