I'm considering getting a VR headset for my new iPhone 16 Pro Max, but I'm unsure which options are compatible and offer the best experience. Are there any specific headsets that work well with the iPhone 16 Pro Max? I've heard about the Apple Vision Pro, but I'm curious if there are other alternatives that might be more affordable or provide better functionality. Any recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Meta Quest 3S is a good choice.

Phone-based VR headsets like Google Cardboard offered poor experiences that damaged VR's reputation. Unless your friend needs a specific iPhone VR app, a used Quest 2 would provide far better value and proper VR immersion.
